“The Battle of Scarif” from Rogue One A Star Wars Story Build

Using two complete Zeveda 1/2700 Star Destroyer kits, I wanted to duplicate the scene of the two Star Destroyers being pushed into each other by a Hammerhead Corvette. The windows are lit with fiber optics powered by 12 volt LEDs. The fire effects are powered by 12 volt flickering LEDs and are placed under the fiberfill “smoke” between the two ships. The engines of the one Star Destroyer also utilize flickering LEDs.

The build will be featured in the January issue of Fine Scale Modeler magazine.
