I wanted to reach out to you about this latest build and maybe attach a few words to it. First and foremost, NICE-N Model Designs hit the nail on the head with this kit. The engineering and armature are very impressive. I can’t find flaw one, in the way this model looks built. In my eyes it truly is SS Accurate down to the rivet holes. There was one down side to the model, and I was warned before purchase, that my kit would come from old molds. Now I didn’t have a clue what that meant, but I figured I wanted one and I’d just deal with it. The model arrived and it was like I said, engineered perfection. The casting was near perfect and the only problem I had were some dips in the hull halves. They were all taken care of with body filler, then re-scribed panel lines. The model builds up beautifully and all the exact parts are in the kit. The 5 point armature is super cool but I confess, I only used 2 -rear and bottom during the whole build -paint process. I want to thank Steve for his help, without it, I would have never been able to pull this paint job off!
