Here’s my latest unique topic. The ‘Alien attack ship’ from Robinson Crusoe on Mars.

The subject was the ‘War of the Worlds’ model by Pegasus, and the rest is scratch built.

The upper dome part is pure conjecture on my part.

The lower dome was SLA grown in translucent red.

Inside the red lower dome is the honeycomb-like pattern seen in the movie.

My friend Paul at Paragrafix created the part for me -thank you Paul!

The base was painted to match the look of the Martian surface. I added little thruster thingies on the rear to provide a propulsion system.

The base attachment point was shifted 2″ to the rear and a metal counter-weight was added inside the model.
