Originally shown here on Modeler Magic back on 1/24/2011, I thought this worth a visit once again. This is one of my most favorite science fiction fighter designs,.. the WarHawk Fighter from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Television series that ran in the 1980’s. Nearly a decade ago professional artist and pattern maker Alfred Wong mastered a fantastic kit of it and this is one of those kit builds. Back then we introduced modeler Stephen Hoyle to this Gallery. One thing that really sticks out on this piece is that Stephen carved out the Canopy area to more look like a studio miniature. The actual kit part is solid resin. You can see the Hawk figure flying the menacing craft quite well. I also love Stephen’s color scheme… looking much like what I remember that fighter to be! I would love to show more of these WarHawk kit builds. Fantastic work by Stephen Hoyle, and Alfred Wong in this model miniatures creation.
