Since my home move a few months ago, I have been trying to get my home office and display together. While close to the floor, I turned and saw this… and thought I would share it with everyone. The Star Destroyer on the right (closest toward the rack) was customized by artist Marc Elkins from a Cooper kit to be the DEVASTATOR! In the middle is the awesome scratch & bash build by retired artist R.L. Bleecker of a Ralph McQuarrie designs that he too customized to be this model… the INTRACTIBLE. The beastie on the left is the AVENGER, also customized from a Cooper kit, by artist Dan Grumeretz. Both Cooper SD’s have nearly 3000 fiber optic strands making up the many visual ports on them, also giving them great scale. The photos were taken quickly with my phone. All in all.. just something cool to see. As the kid I still am, I love this stuff! I hope you do too!
