When Tom DeSanto and Bryan Singer got together to do a Continuation Series (long before the highly successful Ron Moore Re-do), Mr. DeSanto had an artist design this new Viper for the show that never was. After meeting a modeler name Michael Miles he decided to let Mr. Miles take the lead in developing the model for eventual release. This is one of those models. Not many exist as the whole venture went poorly. I originally had ordered a squadron, which turned into only three of which I gave two away to friends. One of which has now returned to the collection. Built by industry famed R.L. Bleecker, this “challenged” casting turned out quite beautiful. The collection now holds SIX of these DeSanto Vipers…. two originally of the Michael Miles casts… and four from the complete re-do of the DeSanto Vipers released by the now defunct Moonbase Models.
