Book Cover Final_Page_1-sized

My new book ‘2001: The Lost Science – The Frederick I. Ordway Collection’ is now available for pre-order.
This is a book the covers in great detail, the work of Fred I. Ordway, the science advisor to Stanley Kubrick on 2001: A Space Odyssey, and all that was involved in getting everything scientifically correct.
It is a large 15″ X 12″ size, and includes many archival pictures, blueprints, and documents from this iconic movie.
The body of work was derived from the US Space & Rocket Centers’ vast archives, and his personal collection.
The book also includes a comprehensive DVD full of interviews, documents, and 3D walk-throughs of the spacecraft mapped directly from the original MGM blueprints.

This is a must-have for any serious Sci-Fi modeler!!

I will also have many books for sale at Wonderfest 2012 during my lecture about the film’s scientific background.

Thank you,
Adam K. Johnson
