Imperial TIE Fighter

We have the great honor of introducing another fine talent to our Gallery today.. Paresh Ladd! Showing first is his wonderful build of… you see it…. the TIE Fighter from Fine Molds! We are looking forward to showing more for Paresh.

I bought this when I was in Korea a few years ago on a teaching gig. The kit falls together really easily and has excellent parts fit. I had arrived there with only a minimum of building supplies and without a compressor so I used Tamiya TS spray paints on the build – goes to show how well the Fine Molds kits are engineered and with just a bare amount of supplies, a really nice build can be achieved. The Tie-Fighter was weathered with an oil wash, artist pastels and graphite powder.
