“The Run on Ice Planet Zero” Composite Art by Kurt Kuhn (Kuhn Global)

Avoiding the Cylon net… Boomer and Starbuck race through the ice canyon with three Cadet Pilots (Cree, Bow & Shields) following. They must get to the massive Gun and destroy it before Galactica enters the system. As their Viper engines are pushed to their maximum, the ice and snow in the canyon is blasting up from the bottom and edges…. so much so that it encompasses and entire viper in the rear. Not knowing what impending destruction lay ahead of them… with a deadly Cylon garrison commanded by the exiled First Centurian (named Vulpa) in their path, the squad valiantly heads toward their destiny… some to die… another to be captured.

This piece was created using the Blue Screen photos (SEEN HERE) of the fantastic four studio scale Viper builds from R.L. Bleecker.. (as built from the amazing, and accurate MSLZ22 Model kits)… as well as a screen capture from the movie FIREFOX… and many layers of snow and mist to capture the scene.
