Dreams are coming to life with the efforts of TimeSlip Creations to bring the remaining parts of the 8 foot Studio Scale Enterprise 1701 Refit to be the kit they have been creating over the past few years. Part by part this great model is truly magnificent, and it’s quality second to none! Thank you again to those responsible for it’s creation. For myself, this marks a dream I have had since viewing Star Trek The Motion Picture in 1979. If my wife would let me, I would probably hang the beast over our bed like I did with my models when I was a kid! LOL. Yes… I am proud to be a total Model Geek! LOL… In reality, since hanging it above the bed is not a true option (as many men can tell the Dog House isn’t any fun to sleep in) I guess I will simply have to put it on display for all to enjoy! Artist Marc Elkins will be building our two when the parts are completed. Anyway, pictured below is the master part for the hull and shuttle bay… HUGE!!!
