Kit Description: This Klingon Bird of Prey Kit is as seen on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. This filming replica is based on the Nilo Rodis Jamero designs for the movie. Initially designed as a Romulan ship (red feather detail on the under wings), the back-story tells us that Klingon Commander Kruge had commandeered it, and in the end it is all Klingon! Nice-N Model Designs artists spent countless hours tracking down the individual kit parts Industrial Light & Magic used to detail the original filming miniature. Each part is superbly pressure cast to offer bubble free casts to the customer. As with any resin kit there are areas that need some attention, and yet our kits are by far some of the garage kit industry’s best. The Klingon Bird of Prey is $3500.00 with $200 shipping in the United States and actual shipping costs for overseas. This kit will arrive as a resin model that will need to be put together. If you don’t have time to build and paint it, please ask about our build and paint service!
