1:1 SCALE LEGO GONK DROID
GNK POWER DROID
THE BRILLIANT GONK DROID TO THOSE WHO HAVE ADORED THE UNDERRATED POWER BEHIND THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE.
I have undertaken this build to honor the gonk droid as many of those who have built them as cosplay costumes and small brick projects including myself.
Now this is the first I have found to be built in full scale 1:1
I may not have a fusion reactor inside to power all of those household needs. How wonderful if they really existed to power our homes and workshops. I’d love one.
My GONKY boasts a non functional welder and a large array of non-functional power ports for heaps of imaginary appliances. A nice bright spotlight and flashing lights that do nothing.

TOTALLY FREE STANDING WITH NO ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FROM STEEL OR ANY OTHER METALS.
THE FEET ARE SOLID LEGO FOR THE WEIGHT, LEGS ARE NEAR SOLID LEGO, INSIDE FRAME IS TECHNICS GALORE WITH A 12V BATTERY POWERING THE SPOT LIGHT AND A LEGO LIGHT BOX WITH IT’S OWN POWER SUPPLY. THEN OFCOURSE THE OVERALL CAKE TOPPER IT GOES “ GONK, GONK, GONK “ ALL DAY LONG.
NO IT DOES NOT MOVE, THAT IS ASKING TO MUCH FOR THIS 56 KILO GONKY GOODNESS..
