I have to admit…. this piece is one of the most desired designs of the collection here at Kuhn Global/Modeler Magic. When Steve Neisen announced he was going to make this kit, my drool factor began. After receiving the parts last year, Dan and I had to place it in line of the many projects that are still being built today. After a few months of great dedication, this Bird of Prey is nearly completed. The build itself is done, but there is still more weathering that is being placed on. The next you see this piece will be in front of a Blue Screen when Dan drives it to us here with the many other items he has recently completed. We have taken everyone through each stage of this build, from showing the kit pieces, to this final display. However, should you find yourself wanting to watch another build that is happening right now, you may view Dean Eyre’s build of it being displayed on the Starship Modeler FB site (HERE). He is doing excellent work….. just as Dan did with this one. Of note…. this one was the #3 Kit Release, but ended up being the second finished build of this kit behind Steve Neisen’s build himself. Dan took painstaking care to match the studio model in every detail, even adding, and moving a few things that most would not even realize were there. He nailed the interior windows look that the studio model had and even added the blown out shield generator on the front of the bridge! I wish to thank Dan for bringing this piece to life for us all to view and appreciate. You do amazing work! I also wish to thank Steve Neisen, and his CREW for bringing this creation to market in such amazing quality. It is quite a fantastic kit!
