Greg Dietrich here again! Just wanted to say hello, see how things were going and to let you know that me and the team of lunatics are almost ready to unveil the first of several 1/6th and 1/4 scale kits of our favorite smuggler ship!
As I may have mentioned, these kits spawned from the full scale cockpit project I have been working on for the past 7 years. I “thought” it would be fun to scale down everything and see if we could turn all that we did into kit form. So far, we’ve been very successful. It’s been stressful but its been a LOT of fun and we can’t wait to make the kit available and see what people do with their own talents and imagination. We are just a few molds away from the big day!
Attached is the very first and near finished prototype of the 1/6th Scale Cockpit Console Kit. The kit comes with everything you need to complete the kit – laser cut MDF and acrylic parts, 3D printed parts, cast/molded seats (upholstery and lights not included) and complete set of decals (this prototype was done with pin-striping) and a full color instruction manual.
The next kit will be a 1/6th scale Nav Computer with Chair and then eventually the entire cockpit (I’m still working that monster and haven’t even finished mine yet)!!!
