AAT/RL by Daniel Schaffer

Artist Daniel Schaffer is back with this magnificent custom version of the AAT that was seen in Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace, as well as in several Clone Wars episodes. This special version I must admit to liking even more than the original! Nicely done!

Here are some pictures of my AAT/RL (RL for rocket launchers…). Using the 1/32 AMT model as base, I modified the AAT’s armament to be ground-to-air weapons. I used rocket launchers from a Revell Sherman “Calliope” Tank and detailed it with various kits, like the Tamiya Flakvierling. The paint job was inspired by the Su-33 Sea Flanker paint
scheme.
