I have the great pleasure of introducing another great talent to this Gallery… artist Dayton Allen of SithFire30 Creations! This artist specializes in sculpting figures and faces we all recognize from films like ALIEN, and games like Star Wars – The Old Republic! Fantastic work!
Here is what Dayton has to say…
My name is Dayton Allen although most in the hobby community knows me as Sith_fire30 and I sculpt articulated figures in 1:18 scale. The figures consist of articulated frames (based on size and build of the character) built from various existing store bought figures, reduced to skeletal armatures then sculpted over using epoxy (Aves FIXIT sculpt). Each figure is then hand painted using Floquil acrylics. I’ve been doing this for a number of years – occasionally taking commission work but not on a regular basis. I will have a few open slots for commission work early in the new year. I will make the announcement on my facebook page – Sith_fire30 Creations – if anyone is interested.
