We have come to know this fantastic artist through his massive LEGO creations! Now we get to see what artist Garry King scratch built back in 1980… when he was a kid! This very well may be the first large Battlestar scratch build ever! At 4 feet long, this was made out of card stock, and lit with Christmas lights! Being that the reference back then didn’t really exist in public form, Garry used what he saw on the Television as well as the old Monogram Battlestar model as example for his scratch build! Amazing!
