One of the things I like about artist Tom Militelloโs works is that he has his own style and techniques of painting his models. He uses florescent paint to make them come to life! Here we show his build of the Polar Lights NX-01 utilizing the florescent paint to make the main hull panels showโฆ as well as the windows. Very fascinating to view this type of buildโฆ. and reminds me of TRON very much. I am looking forward to seeing what next Tom will be showing.

The grid lines on all Star Trek ships are in fact the shielding emitters. That is why I made them glow. The shielding comes from the spaces between the panels.
