This is my commission build of the Polar Lights 1/350 scale Klingon
K’t’inga Battle Cruiser.  I was supplied the Polar Lights lighting kit
for the build from my client.  I felt the 2-  3mm LEDs in the front of
the ship were not enough to illuminate evenly and brightly’.

I ended up using 1 cool white LED strip in the spherical section with photo gel
diffusion on the backside of the window, and the same for the curved
flat area front of the ship.  The rest of the lighting was all from the
lighting kit.  The painting was done with airbrush and a lot of masking,
using various shades of Tamiya green paints and some grays.  Then paint
washes and some dry brushing were done.  Per my clients request, a power
cable was run from the rear of one of the engine nacelles as well as
fishing line, run from each nacelle and behind the bridge, which I
secured internally to the model structure for extra support in hanging.
