12 Foot! WarHammer Role Playing Game Diorama by South American Models

The Martinez Family and South American models is back with this amazing diorama display that is a an actual role playing game arena for WarHammer! The detail in this is incredible as is the lighting! I am very much impressed with the skills of this family. The builders include:

Ricardo Sr. – Lead design, main scenery creation.
Gabriel Martinez – Scenery first assistant
Jorge Martinez– Scenery second assistant
Ricardo Jr. – Wiring led lights, scenery third assistant, and wargame playing consultant.

This is what Ricard Jr. has to say of this magnificent piece…

This is a 12 foot long, 4 foot wide, and 3 foot high, “Warhammer” wargame role playing diorama. It is not the kind of diorama with fixed pieces that cannot be moved and makes a scene in time, but is actually a decorated game board, with areas to move the pieces, plot strategies, atack or redraw, all in a “middle ages” scenario. The diorama is set to be separated in three 4 by 4 foot modules. First from left to rigth is the “Realm of the Good Man”. Second is a canyon with two bridges and a winding mountain road on the back, those 3 paths connect the first with the third and final part module. Each path comes with a different wide limitation, 3 pieces wide on the front arch bridge, 2 pieces for the weak wood bridge, and 1 for the mountain cliff. The third module is the “Temple of Doom” where the forces of evil plot their vengeance.

Special detail managed by addition of selected “Warhammer” “Games Workshop” kit parts, and “Lord of the Rings” sets were used to make the “Realm of Good Man”. The volcanos with light, and the horse were specially handcrafted. We wanted to do a creative use of games workshop sets, trying to break with the classic configuration of the structures, the box art of the original sets we avoid the most. There is one big and really important detail, the diorama “isn’t finished”! The main castle and the evil fortress are missing until the client is able to add them on. So, this is the first delivery and we will know in a few days if the client gives the green light to go with the remaining castles and structures that are currently missing. We will update at that time.
