NCC-1371โฆ the USS Republic! This was the vessel James T Kirk and Benjamin Finney did their training cruise aboard when a huge accident happened. This, of course, led to the strained relationship between the two menโฆ and the eventually false accusation against Capt. Kirk for Finneyโs faked death in โCourt Martialโ.
This fantastic Round 2 (Ertl) was built to resemble that fantastic ship by artist David Shaw! It is beautiful!
