Tim Ketzer -1995/1996 Scratch Built 32″ (Studio Scale) Millennium Falcon Replica

This piece was originally shown here on Modelers Miniatures & Magic back on February 1, 2009 and now updated to today’s showing standard!

Before there were any replicas made by different companies, all we had were smaller kits of the Millennium Falcon, and none of them were truly correct. A few Model Makers stepped up to the challenge of scratch building a studio scale 32 inch Millennium Falcon replica… Tim Ketzer is one of those model makers who did!

***

This is a replica of the “smaller” (32″ long) Millennium Falcon model that ILM made for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. It is made from scratch from about 4000 parts and can be mounted from all sides for photography.
