SOLD!! Dragonslayer Diorama by Tim Nolan of RatDaddyStudios

SOLD!!

Dragonslayer! This was a film that was fairly big for it’s time! And anyone who saw it can never forget little Peter MacNicol as the young Dragonslayer! Tim Nolan’s diorama of this film is amazing with it’s lighting effects! Beautiful work! And this piece is FOR SALE!! SOLD!!

Here’s one I just finished, Verithrax Pejorative dragon from 1981 movie “Dragonslayer”.  It’s currently on ebay, reserve is $275.00.  The base has flickering LED’s to simulate the “lave cave” the dragon lived in.  Looks cool in the dark or low light!  It’s got about 20 LED’s mounted underneath.  I enlarged the kit base using an acrylic photo frame which I Dremeled into a cobblestone pattern and drybrushed.  It’s completely airbrushed/drybrushed with Badger “Freak Flex” and Autoaire paints.

Tim Nolan’s FINKENSTEIN!

What can I say about this…… except that I LOVE IT! Departing a bit  from what we normally show, this piece is modeling by Tim Nolan brings back the memories of the Monster Mash and Creature Feature shows on late Saturday nights as a kid….not to mention the cartoon look of just about every weird looking creature done back in the ’60’s and ’70’s. The detail on the figure is fantastic… as is the goo…slobber… and bubbles in the scene. Wonderfully done!
