SciFord/Chris Ford – Star Wars: ROTJ/The Mandalorian, Episode 1 – 3D Printed – Salacious Crumb

While I’m awaiting delivery of Lasse’s latest kit. I decided to finish up and home my little Mr Crumb. I bought him from a fellow online who’d printed him from a file. It’s the first time I’d worked with a printed model. He’s quite fragile and extremely lightweight. I knew from the start I wanted to house him in a cage, like the ones at the start of Ep 1 of The Mandalorian were. He needed some added chicken feathers to bring him to life so I did that a few evenings ago. Today I modified a wild bird feeder and attached him to a perch which was a piece of local driftwood. The base too was cut from some driftwood. I added a single white led at the top and hid the battery box under the base. I’ll display the cage hanging from a tall metal shepherd’s crook which I’ll then place in the lounge. He was a fun kit to work on.

Cheers,
