“The model was shipped very securely in a cardboard box resembling a Borg cube. Unpacking went well with an instruction sheet enclosed along with a CD detailing the stages of construction. Also provided were 3 AAA batteries for the sound and a 9 volt power supply for the lights.

After connecting two power cables for the lights and installing the AAA batteries, the saucer was powered on with a toggle switch on an Invader type control panel attached to the base. Instantly the saucer lights lit up as their control panel buttons were pressed. Pressing other buttons caused Invader sound bits to be played thru a speaker in the base giving an eerie feel to the model which was quite at home going thru its routines as set by the various switches and buttons. The light show is best in near or total darkness. Wooooo…creepy…especially with the supplied figures standing on the base as it is washed by the eerie green light slowly pulsing on and off. The model is a great mood piece when thinking about UFOs or the show itself….’Would you care to inspect our spaceship Mr. Vincent?’ Our representative Mike Makkreel would gladly provide you with one for an agreed upon price of course….
