Kit Description: New from AJAMODELS is the Titov V Spaceplane that was to be filmed for 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The model is precision resin cast with styrene pieces. Model measures about 13″ long and appears to be in scale with the Moebius/Aurora Orion space clipper.
Here are pictures of the completed model, pictures as it would have been seen in the movie, and pictures with hypothetical Aeroflot decals.
Note: Decals are not included in the kit. But are available through ex-USSR kit manufacturers. I used 1/144th TU-134 decals on this kit.
I am pleased that Fred I. Ordway III (science adviser on 2001) personally consulted me on the finishing of this model (see pic). The Spaceplane was named after cosmonaut Gherman Titov.

The Model comes with a detailed & complete interior as well. Price is $75 plus shipping and handling.
