Greg Nicotero’s RED 3 X-Wing by Chris Kelley

This was a commissioned build for famed Hollywood FX artist Greg Nicotero. He and I had talked about doing the SS scale paint scheme from the original 22″ new hope model (Biggs), but we both agreed that the 4 foot model was much more eye catching, with it’s weathering much more aggressive! Although the two different sized studio models don’t even come close to the same paint scheme, I was given artistic leeway to put the magic pixie-dust on it!
