Fine Molds SLAVE ONE by Jerome de Win

I have the pleasure of introducing the fantastic work of Jerome de Win to this Gallery! Recently returning to the art form, it is apparent that Jerome will have much to show us with his great talents! See for yourself below!

It’s a Fine Molds Boba Fett’s Slave I replica. It was build using reference pictures of the original studio model that I found here on the site. Many thanks of sharing these, as they helped me a lot to get it as accurate as possible!
It’s lighted with 13 leds, operated by a 9v battery inside. 5 of them are wired to 0.25mm finer optics. 3 of them are flashing, using a custom made circuit board that allows me to adjust the speed of the flashing individually.

I also made little diorama from the stand, since it looked boring. So I build it with an image in my mind that Boba Fett has some kind of junkyard and workshop where he can customize his ship.

The process of the build can be viewed here:

As you will see in this thread I loved this build so much I started doing a 2nd one, which I will be glad to sell to any Boba fans out there. It can be customized to what a potential buyer wants, since the cockpit and electronics aren’t done yet on that one.

If people are interested in the adjustable led board for their builds, we’re thinking of getting it in production if enough people like to have it. Costs will be around 25-30 euro max. (but that just an estimate for now)

I forgot to mention that I made some modification on the wings.: The original pistons were replaced with some that actually work and a missing wing piece was added. Also some pictures of the junkyard.

Best regards,

Jerome de Win
