Here’s some photos on the Vulcan warp sled model. It’s studio scale and about 3 feet long overall. The sled and shuttle are separate models but will attach to one another with armature mounts in the same manner as the filming model. The shuttle has an internal 5-point armature with removable covers the same as the studio model. Internal lighting with 7 separate circuits on each model will allow the timing on the lights to be programmed to match the movie effects. Next steps will be to finish up the smaller exterior details with scratch built and kit parts and then on to painting.
