Alfred Wong’s Own Patterned 1/24 (Over 30 Inch!!) B-Wing Build from the KORBANTH SABERS Kit!

My 1/24 B-Wing At Last!

Produced by KORBANTH Sabers, the castings are generally good, though a few parts were a bit rougher than expected. A couple of large parts had imperfections roughly repaired with plumbers putty which I didn’t like, but there’s nothing that experienced modelers can’t deal with.

I customized mine by replacing the (once again) waaay over-used fella from the old Captain Cardboard X-Wing kit with a new female pilot. The cockpit and tail-cone can rotate in unison, and I ground out the red nozzle plates to enable more realistically lit hollowed engine nozzles with new flame holders. A new vac-formed canopy replaced the kit’s resin cast.
