I was in the store TARGET recently and saw that they had released the classic Star Wars toys on vintage cards and in vintage boxes. This does not mean that the toy is the vintage shape however. The old Kenner Lanspeeder, as were the the other toys back then, was misshapen and had a huge bubble-like from window. As you can see here… the newest release is completely accurate in shape. So much so that artist Paul Nyul took advantage of this fantastic toy to make it a fantastic museum display piece. The entire display is magnificent… from the paint and the farm moisture vaporator… to the sand base! Fantastic!
