The destruction of the USS Enterprise Refit in Star Trek 3 was hard to watch, yet compelling. As it disintegrated before our eyes onscreen… a brief instance of “grief” rushed through me. I had grown up with this Enterprise since 1966, even though this was the modern REFIT of the 1979 film. It was the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 after all… and there was no going back. Artist Robin Clifford again shows his amazing talents as he captured this moment in his art. Beautiful…. and sad at the same time. Nicely done.
