The model is my interpretation of concept art done for Battlestar Galactica in 1978. That concept art was itself heavily inspired by a Moebius design in a comic.The model built for the series was the Flat Top part of the Rag Tag Fleet. I have re-imagined the Battlestar Galactica concept incorporating some of the design elements of the original Moebius design, namely the two seat bubble cockpit.
