I would like to share pictures of my build-up of the AMT Galor Class Cardassian Cruiser from Round 2. I studied references of the studio model to match colors used for the main hull and details. For the base color, I two additional colors for primary shading, then, I used the hull plating decals from Round 2 (available separately for this subject) to provide the panel shading that is prominent on this subject. The Round 2 hull plating decals have a translucence to them that allowed the base color and primary shading to also show through. As the Round 2 hull plating decals cover most (but not all) of the areas of the ship, I shaded additional area that were not covered by the hull plating decals. A raw umber wash was used to emphasize and provide depth to details. Dry brushing with lightened base color was used to hi-light details as well.
Thanks,
Dave Olszewski
