Artist Steve Carricato built this beautiful 1:6 NOMAD for the Schurbet Namjin Tam Collection!

I finished 1/6 scale of The “Nomad” from the TOS Star Trek series, know as the “Changling”. This one will go to the Schurbet Namjin Tam collection. He wanted it to light up. The kit is produced by Monsters in Motion. It came as a 5 piece solid resin kit. I hollowed out the base, then I hand drilled out over 300 holes with a pen vise drill bit. Next, my good buddy from “Evans Lighting” produced the lighting kit for Nomad, so it could change into 5 different colors and pulse. I am currently working on scratch building the anti -Gravity Handles which were used to attach to nomad via small magnets which I installed inside Nomad. Therefore when I finish the handles they will simply magnetically attache!
