Another great artist has joined our ranks, from Light Year Models, artist Joe Diaz! Joe’s work is known from the 2010 Ships of the Line Calendar… with his builds of the ships you see in the picture below! Joe has been building for the past 21 years. You may view His Enterprise D below, and what a masterpiece it is!

I was lucky enough to build the two models for the 2010 November entry for the Ships of the Line Calendar. Working with John Han (Special Effects supervisor on Heroes and the hit movie “2012″) was an amazing experience and it was an honor to have my work displayed in an official Star Trek publication.
