No. 2 in Fantastic Plastic’s “Classic Rocketship Series” is the Rocketship “Friede” from director Fritz Lang’s 1929 “Frau im Mond” (Woman on the Moon). Designed by rocket pioneer Hermann Oberth, the “Friede” was the first scientifically plausible rocketship ever to grace the silver screen and served as inspiration for then 18-year-old Werner von Braun.
