On May 11, 2001, Collection Wars Gabe Estrada and Mike Hawes interview one of the big boys in the studio model collection world… Michael Plante. This is a fantastic interview! Michael’s collection shines with pieces created by famed artists such as Marc Elkins, Dan Grumeretz, Jim Creveling, Sean Corsini, Mike Salzo, Steve Neisen, Fon Davis, Richard Long, John Eblan, Jim Key, (insert BIG breath here)..and many… many more (simply too many great artists to list properly)! His collection even has the very first made replica of the Battlestar Galactica (by Jim Creveling) that was used on the cover of the Battlestar Galactica Series Blu-ray. To state the word “Impressive” simply doesn’t do Michael’s collection justice. I stand amazed!
