Trade Federation DROID “Vulture” Fighters by Jan Jacob

Artist Jan Jacob has returned with this trio of Droid Fighter goodness! He even has one of the Clone Wars paint schemes on one of the Vulture Droids!

Trade Federation Droid Fighters:
I started on the AMT/ERTL, Snapfast, Trade Federation Droid Fighters in 2007, but discovered that I had the colors all wrong, So I repainted it twice before I had the correct colors.

Then I thought it would be nice to cut one of the model wings in half, just like in episode 1 where the droid is standing in the Trade
Federations hanger. (I had to repaint again)

In Episode 3 there is also a Droid starfighter but with different colors (so I repainted it again). The markings where difficult because the model is very small (the model is in 1:48 scale), and has all kinds of detail on it. There are not many reference pictures of it, so some of the markings are made up. Now in 2012 I finally finished the model, five years for such a small model.
